Geez. Well, first of all, I just thought I'd make this announcement...
I SPENT $9.50 ON A BOX OF 50 COLORED PENCILS.

I almost went so far as to purchase 50 markers and a box of 94 crayons...

I did compromise by buying a pack of mechanicle pencils, that I so badly need since all of my friends keep stealing them from me.
It's my Christmas present to me. :3
So, anyways, sorry I've been gone for...ever?
IDK, I'm around the interwebs, but I haven't posted anything because...well...I felt that nothing in my life was enthralling enough to post about...
BUT NOW I DO
I got a laptop as an early Christmas present, since I've been such a good girl. x3 I FREEKING LOVE IT.
Ummm...Well, anything exciting enough to talk about would be that we got a snow day after waiting a whole freekin month to get one. Buuuuut it happened on the last day of exams, which has its up and down sides for me. For one thing. my 6th hour exam would have been Honors Trig, which I wasn't so prepared for, so that was the good thing. Bad thing is now I have to worry about the exam ALL BREAK LONG.

Pft. I'm typing up my grandma's recipes. My dad wants it done by tonight. I've got about 10 more or so to go.
But I've got a crink in my neck and back because I've been sitting in my bed ALL DAY WORKING ON IT

So I've been driving about from time to time, but I can't go anywhere without letting my parents know where I'm going.
I can't take any fun trips just yet. Just trips that are important.

Now, I've got to rant about the Olympics, which isn't really important.
BUT GO AHEAD AND READ ANYWAYS 8D

So, I'm pretty much pissed about the whole singing girl switchup for the beginning ceremonies.
In case you haven't heard, they held a contest for children to sing for the beginning ceremonies. This one little girl by the name of Yang Peiyi was chosen.
Then, for some godforsaken reason, they decided to record her singing, ban her from the ceremonies, then have some other girl lyp-sync to it.
Why?
Because she wasn't cute enough. To be more precise, she had buck teeth.
WHAT. THE. FUCK.

Yes, I admit that the lyp-syncing girl is adorable, but Yang is just as cute, if not cuter.

ITS AN UNAVOIDABLE PART OF GROWING UP AND IT MAKES KIDS MORE ADORABLE
Then there's the whole girls gymnastics controversy.
The USA team got silver while the Chinese team got the gold.
But there's no way in high hell that the girls on the Chinese team are 16 and over.
They're WAY too itty-bitty to be 16 and there chests were flatter than...IDK, paper? (at least from what I could see...)
Of course, they can get away with it because the Chinese government is in charge of creating birth certificates and passports, so no one has any real clue about their age except their parents.
Yet, I have to commend them on their FANTASTIC routine, compared to the USA's major screwups.
That's when the USA coach has to open her yap and blame their screwups for a "delay" that she said threw off the one girl's concentration and nerve.
Hell, if I had extra time, I'd be relieved, knowing I had more time to concentrate on what I was going to do.
Now there's the Swedish wrestler who's pretty much the sorest loser I've ever heard about.
He ends up winning the bronze medal, even though he was going for gold.
He gets pissy at the judges, takes his medal, throws it into the ring, and just marches off.
Can you say "disrespectful bastard"?
Does he even realize that getting in the top 3 is still pretty damn good?
And that that medal has not only bronze, but jade in it as well?
I mean, Jesus. Just suck it up and be proud that you at least got bronze, asshole, instead of being a sore loser.
All in all, I pretty much think that this Olympics is going to be remembered for only the controversy...

But I have SOOOO many questions that need to be answered.
- Should I do commisions on the spot? If so, should I put down a list of what I can draw?
- Should I make prints? If so, what do you think I should make prints of? (My original characters or fanstuff?)
- How DO you make prints?
- How much would should I price for A) A sketch B) Inked C) Colored w/o background D) Colored w/ background?

Family: neice to Peppermint Larry
About: Jacky was born in Storm-a-long to a well-to-do with family. Her parents were lost in a freak storm when she was only 8. It was assumed that they died, so she was brought up by her uncle, Peppermint Larry. She admired all the adventurous pirates that came in and out of the Candy Barrel and loved to hear their tales on the high seas. By the time she turned 18, she used the money she earned while working with her uncle, bought her own ship, and left Storm-a-Long to find Candy Island. However, she had rotten luck trying to cross the dangerous waters, nearly capsizing her ship at one point. So, she simply drifted around, hoping to find anyone who could possibly help her get to Candy Island. It was at one point she came across a notorius pirate who gave her a bunch of strawberry licorice after she beat him in a game of Blackjack. It is known that strawberry licorice is a rare treat that can only come from Candy Island. Jacky fell in love with the candy. She saved a few strings to wear as earings and a necklace. She even saved one very large strand to use as a whip. From that point on, she became known as Licorice Jacky. A few years later, after having no luck at all in finding help, she returned to Storm-a-long to help out at the Candy Barrel, just like old times. It was there that she met a couple of mistfits; a blue-skinned man with a funny walk named K'nuckles and a young, bizzare lad named Flapjack. After sharing her story with the two, Flapjack invited her to join them on their adventure (of course, K'nuckles didn't agree with this offer, but he thought that anyone who was more mature than Flapjack would be more than welcomed to accompany him to keep him from going insane).
Personality: Loves to pull pranks, is outgoing and bubbly, but will be serious when the time calls for it, never gives up a fight until she wins, cares very much about adventuring</lj-cut>
